Cauliflower Buffalo Bites

From Moni the Bee – I love spicy food, so buffalo bites have always been one of my favorite dishes. I created this version of the recipe to have the usual buffalo “wings” with my own version of vegan ranch. The recipe is very simple and easy, to prepare buffalo bites for 4 people you need:

  • 1 cauliflower chopped into pieces
  • ½ cup of soy milk (or any other plant based milk)
  • ½ cup of water
  • 1 cup of flower
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • Paprika
  • Cayenne
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Vegan buffalo or barbeque sauce

For the ranch dressing:

  • ¼ cup of vegan mayo
  • ⅛ cup of soy milk
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Pepper, brown sugar, and basil to taste

Prep:

  • Mix the flower, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, paprika, cayenne pepper and pepper to taste on a bowl.
  • Add the water and soy milk and mix until it looks like a paste.
  • Dip the cauliflower into the paste and bake in a preheated oven until they look toasty, flip them and bake on the other side.
  • Place them in a bowl, add the sauce and mix them until they’re all dipped in sauce.
  • To make the ranch dressing mix all the ingredients in a small bowl.
