- It’s a fresh new year and I’m feeling really good energy about this year for reasons I have yet to be aware of. 2017 seemed like it would be rough and I didn’t have high hopes going into it honestly, but this year feels fresh for some reason. For no good reason yet, it just does. Are you guys feeling that way too?
- So resolutions are big this time of year. Do you make one? Did you already break it? This is an awesome time to do a self check in, especially post yoga. Do some journaling and be honest with yourself. Where are you at, how are you feeling and where would you like to be. What does your intuition say? Are you willing to listen?
- What steps will get you to where you want to be, and are they doable. Are you scared or lazy, what would make you not be. Can you get so excited about the outcome it pulls you forward instead of fears holding you back.
- One thing I’m starting this year is a Love List. 5 things daily that I love about myself or my life written out or tapped out on my fingers just to make it more physical. They have to be specific and small. Something wonderful that happened that day, the dimple I have when I smile, a flower I walked by… something little that I truly appreciate fully. It’s a great way to shift your own mood towards life. Staying positive can be a huge help even as you work to improve your life. In the middle of a rough patch finding a minute of happiness to recharge and be strong again will help you tackle your challenges. They say an attitude of gratitude is a magnet for miracles. Try it out for yourself and see if you agree.
