I love fresh smoothies made with real fruit. It’s refreshing and sweet, but not sugary. Energizing with no crash. It feeds my body and makes my tastes buds happy. This one is a lovely combo of mangoes, pears, and apples.
As you can imagine, you simple toss all three ingredients into a high speed blender and enjoy. Add ice cubes or pre-freeze some of the chunks of fruit in advance to be blended at your leisure, if you like it cold. You can also play with making ice cubes out of coconut water and adding those to your smoothies for a little extra tropical flavor and nutrients.
A fun thing to try out is adding a tiny bit of kombucha to the mix. Some people even make fruity sorbet out of the smoothie that they end up pouring kombucha on top of for a fun kombucha float. Try it and see what you enjoy.
This is a nice recipe to pour into popsicle trays too for yummy and healthy treats once the weather warms up.
Bottoms up. 🙂

Delicious! Smoothies are my favorite meal substitute and or treat! I love mangos and when I can’t get them fresh I buy the frozen mango pineapple mix that Dole puts out. No added sugar, just fruit. I also use a protein powder in my smoothies to give me that extra boost.
